Manage your yahoo mail account using usewide YM gadget
Simple and easy!!!
Download the gadget stuff from usewide download center and have it installed with your windows sidebar. The gadget screenshot is as followings:
1) To activate the gadget, you need to log into your YM account. Click the mail icon ( position (1) )
2) Click the link at position (2) whenever you want to check your mail box.
3) Click the icon at position (3) to have a list of newest mails.
The gadget produces an interesting sound each time your mail box receiving a new message.

Each time you log into your yahoo mail account to activate usewide YM gadget, Yahoo gives the following announcement to assure that your mail box is secure with usewide;
Now we need your permission to grant access to your Yahoo! account
http://ms.usewide.com is asking you and Yahoo! for the ability to automatically log you into your Yahoo! account through a service or application that is provided by http://ms.usewide.com, and to read and write to your data in Yahoo! Mail.
By clicking "I Agree" below, you give Yahoo! permission to enable http://ms.usewide.com to access your Yahoo! account for this purpose, and further agree to the Automatic Login Terms of Service below.
Keep in mind:
- http://ms.usewide.com will not be able to access any data you
keep on Yahoo! other than the data identified above.

My Suggestion
I have used this gadget for three days and found it good. A little inconvenience is that we could not check new emails in place with the gadget.

OK,
The 1st version 1.0.0.1 is my beginning step to windows gadget programming.
The 2nd version 1.0.1.2 is my advance step.
The next version with my full experiences in windows gadget programming will have more interesting features.
The next version will come out soon.

More: If you no longer wanna arrange usewide to access your yahoo mail account information, just open your 'My Account' page, select the command 'Manage Account Links', then check the Checkbox under 'http://ms.usewide.com', and select 'OK'.

You can switch from one to another yahoo mail acount easily by using the login command (button at position 1 specified above).

We need a desktop application performing the task of this gadget. It will be very useful to windowsXP users.

I once mentioned that this gadget would be developed for windows-vista users only. Users from other platforms cannot but arrange suitable environment to have this gadget run in by using whatever software.

The service for YM from usewide is powerful and can adapt to either web applications or desktop applications. Hence, we will release a desktop application using this service to help users from platforms other than windows vista managing their yahoo mail accounts in an ever easy way.
